Larch Season

For a few weeks each year, the larches of the Upper Engadine glow in warm autumn colours. The view stretches across the open slopes to Lake Sils and on to the first snow-covered peaks. The picture captures the brief transition between autumn and winter, when the landscape reaches its greatest diversity of colour.
