Four winter landscapes, reduced to a few elements: a track in snow, a hut on a windswept slope, surfaces shaped by the wind and a ridge in the light.
A deep track curves through the snow. Its raised edges cast the only shadows across the surface.
A wooden hut stands in windblown snow, its shadow falling across the slope. Snow-covered peaks rise behind it against a dark sky.
Wind draws fine lines and patterns across the snow surface. Side light brings out the edges and layers.
Light falls across a snowy mountain ridge, lifting it from the surrounding landscape. Shadows and bright snowfields define the clear form of the image.
