Fragile Winter shows winter scenes that exist for only a short time. Snow, ice and cold transform landscape and vegetation, creating forms that disappear again as the weather changes and warmth returns.

Sculptures

The weight of snow changes the shape of the spruces. Branches become heavy, almost sculptural figures. Rain and rising temperatures make these forms disappear again.

Deep snow surrounds a remote hut. Only the dark wood stands out against the soft snowfields and winter forest.
