Terms and conditions
§ 1 Scope
These terms apply to orders from the Open Edition shop of R.Thommen Photography, a sole proprietorship owned by Remo Thommen, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
§ 2 Prices & payment
Prices are shown in CHF and include packaging and delivery within Switzerland. The payment methods and payment terms shown at checkout apply.
§ 3 Delivery
Prints are made to order. Delivery takes 14 days unless the specific product states otherwise. Delivery abroad requires prior agreement; the costs are agreed individually.
§ 4 Cancellation & returns
Orders are binding upon written order confirmation. Cancellation is possible only before production starts and with written agreement from R.Thommen Photography. Please send requests concerning cancellations, returns or defects to photo@remothommen.com, quoting your order number. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

§ 5 Open Edition & production
Open Editions are unlimited photographic prints. The image, material, size and scope of delivery are defined by the product description and order. A limited edition, numbering or certificate of authenticity is included only if expressly stated in the product description.
§ 6 Defects
Please report obvious defects in writing within 3 days of delivery and document them with photographs. Justified complaints will be resolved by repair, replacement or refund. Mandatory statutory rights concerning defects remain unaffected.
§ 7 Copyright
Buying a print transfers ownership of the physical image. Copyright and reproduction rights remain with the respective rights holders. The purchase does not include rights to reproduce or commercially exploit the image.
§ 8 Applicable law & jurisdiction
Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Chur, subject to mandatory statutory jurisdiction and consumer protection provisions.

1. Data controller
The Open Edition shop is operated by R.Thommen Photography, a sole proprietorship owned by Remo Thommen. R.Thommen Photography is responsible for the processing of personal data on this website. 2. Enquiries, orders and payment
For enquiries and orders, we process your name, email address, phone number where provided, billing and delivery addresses, ordered products and variants, payment status and transaction details. We use this data for communication, order fulfilment, delivery and accounting. Wix provides the shop and contact functions. Depending on the payment method, payment data is processed by the provider identified at checkout. Placing an order does not subscribe you to a newsletter.
3. Website operation and Wix
This website is operated using Wix.com Ltd., Israel. Wix provides hosting, forms, contact management and technical notifications. When you visit the website, Wix processes technical connection and usage data, including your IP address, browser and device information and pages visited, to deliver and secure the website and evaluate its operation.
4. Cookies and visitor statistics
The website uses Wix cookies for technical functionality and security. Wix Analytics provides visitor statistics, including sessions, devices and the origin of visits. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; this may limit website functionality.
5. Service providers and international processing
Wix and its subprocessors process data to provide the website and its functions. According to Wix, data is processed in Israel, Ireland and the United States, among other countries. Wix describes its service providers and safeguards in its privacy information. For an order, payment providers and providers responsible for production, delivery or installation receive the information necessary for their respective tasks. Disclosures required by law remain possible.
6. Retention
Enquiry and contact data is retained for as long as needed to handle the enquiry, maintain the business relationship or protect legitimate claims. Statutory retention obligations remain applicable; business and accounting records subject to retention requirements are generally kept for ten years. You can request deletion using the contact address below.
7. Your rights
Within the scope of applicable data protection law, you can request access, correction and deletion of your data and, where applicable, restriction of processing or a copy of your data. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent for the future. Please contact photo@remothommen.com. You can also contact the competent data protection supervisory authority; in Switzerland this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
8. Applicable data protection law
Swiss data protection law applies. Where other data protection rules, in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation, apply to specific processing, those rules and the rights they provide remain unaffected.
